Copy the video link
Open the video on YouTube and copy its link. In the app, tap Share, then Copy link. In a browser, copy the address from the address bar. Single videos, Shorts, live replays and YouTube Music tracks all work.

Paste it and pick a format
Paste the link into the box, then choose MP3, M4A, OPUS, WAV or FLAC. For MP3 you can also pick 128, 192 or 320 kbps. 192 kbps is a good default.

Convert and download
Press Convert. A status page shows the download and conversion progress, and a Download button appears when your file is ready. Save it right away: files are deleted after 30 minutes.

How do I copy a link from the YouTube app?
Open the video, tap Share below it, then tap Copy link. Come back to this page, paste the link into the box and choose a format.
Does it work with YouTube Shorts and live streams?
Yes. Paste a youtube.com/shorts/ or youtube.com/live/ link just like a regular video. Live streams can be converted once they've ended and a replay is available.
Why doesn't my YouTube playlist or channel link work?
Konvert converts one video at a time. Open the specific video you want from the playlist or channel and paste that link instead. A video link that includes &list= works and converts just that video.
Which format keeps YouTube's original audio?
YouTube usually stores audio as Opus, so choosing OPUS often saves that stream as-is, with no re-encoding. MP3 and M4A are re-encoded for wider compatibility.
What's the best MP3 quality for YouTube audio?
YouTube's audio is already compressed, so 192 kbps is plenty for most listening. Pick 320 kbps if you want the highest MP3 setting, or OPUS to keep the original stream untouched.
How long can the YouTube video be?
Up to 1 hour. Longer videos are turned down before anything is downloaded, so you won't wait for a conversion that can't finish.
Can I convert age-restricted or private YouTube videos?
No. Videos that require signing in, including private, members-only and age-restricted ones, can't be converted.
